I’m writing this letter to tell you that I had a great experience with Pete at Alameda Estate Sales who ran my Estate Sale in 2022. Pete went through all the belongings we would no longer be needing and figured out what could be sold, donated or recycled. He spent a great deal of time researching to find the value of items and priced them accordingly. He spent a lot of time getting ready for the sale.
We had a two day sale which Pete advertised in all the right places. It was on a Friday and Saturday in July. A couple hundred people came. Most of what wasn’t sold found a good home, plus afterwards, he followed through to find homes for a couple of priceless items from a ship that had been display pieces.
I was pleased that I did not have to do more than put my items out and give a few suggested prices on precious items. He also had a few helpers at the sale. Pete went above and beyond to take care of details and the sale paid out more money than was expected. The house was left empty and and debris was hauled and swept away.
